Trinity Lutheran Church has been in the heart of St. Joseph, Michigan, since 1867. Over the years, we have been part of thousands of families, nurturing faith, providing hope, and showing love. Our mission is to reach the world for Christ, making disciples by proclaiming the Gospel in Word and Sacrament through worship, Christian education, community outreach, and contagious sharing of the faith in word and deed.
Trinity is introducing a new approach to our Adult Instruction Class using GOD-Connects, a program from Lutheran Hour Ministries. This video‑based course explores Christian doctrine through 12 topics. Each lesson begins with a short video and includes a downloadable discussion guide.
We invite every adult in your family interested in membership at Trinity to watch each session’s introduction video and print the matching lesson to read. Take your time studying the material, and feel free to underline or highlight anything helpful or anything you’d like to ask about.
After you’ve gone through the lessons, we’ll schedule New Member Class meetings where we can talk through what you’ve learned together. We grow best when we can see, read, hear, and discuss—and then put our faith into practice in daily life.
